Data Scientist

ID 2024-20204: Army Data and Analytics Platform (ARDAP) Data Scientist is seeking to lead development of analytics solutions, defining data integration techniques, and providing guidance on high-level policy areas to key personnel. This fast-paced position involves research, analysis, and implementing algorithms and data-driven tools.

Requirements

• Lead development and implementation of analytics solutions.
• Define and develop techniques for data integration, consolidation, and structuring data.
• Research, analyze, and document technical approaches.
• Provide guidance in applying appropriate algorithms and data science techniques.
• Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform large-scale data into actionable information.
• Design scalable algorithms utilizing large amounts of data and apply data mining, cluster analysis, statistical models, visualization, and machine learning.
• Enable automation of queries and build tools.
• Develop graphical analysis to analyze and interpret data and update existing programs.
• Write scripts to integrate data, conduct exploratory data analysis, and apply machine learning.
• Have experience formulating recommendations and briefings and easily communicate complex ideas.
• Have experience serving as a data scientist on complex technology implementations
• Experience in large data environments with an understanding of scaling algorithms between differing environments.
