Job Description
This position with ID 2025-23913 involves providing Environmental Consulting Services for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Juneau, Alaska, supporting natural and cultural resource permitting of construction projects and related environmental work. The role involves technical reviews, project scoping, field investigations, and compliance with environmental regulations. The position requires strong knowledge of NEPA, ESA, and NHPA.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Environmental Consulting Services.
- Work experience in Alaska or similar conditions is highly preferred.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and twist, bend, and squat.
