Freelance Interior Designer

Ukio is a startup that empowers individuals to live where they want, when they want. We're seeking a Freelance Design Project Manager to coordinate and manage the execution phase of our interior design projects in Milan, ensuring high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Requirements

• Conduct measurements and take photos of apartments in Milan
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an efficient onboarding of new apartments
• Ensure that each apartment meets Ukio’s quality standards and is fully functional for guest use
• Oversee and manage project execution in alignment with design specifications and operational requirements
• Track furniture deliveries and coordinate with the logistics team to guarantee smooth receipt and installation
• Manage furniture return and replacement processes, when necessary
• Coordinate the installation of electronic locks or arrange key copies when locks are not feasible
• Supervise the installation of furniture, appliances, and large equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Coordinate handymen and technicians, ensuring timely completion of all work with the right materials and tools
• Manage staging and oversee photoshoots to ensure apartments meet Ukio’s aesthetic standards
• Compile inventories and complete final checklists to confirm apartments are fully guest-ready
