Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician at UL Solutions is responsible for the setup and performance of testing equipment and test setups for clients. This role involves building, adapting, and operating laboratory equipment, analyzing test samples, and ensuring accurate test results. It also includes maintaining lab equipment and reporting test data.

Requirements

• Builds and/or adapts set up and test equipment.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other test specifications.
• Evaluates test performance and sample operation.
• Records and explains test results.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• May direct staff in test setups.
• Communicates with customers during test setup.
