Electrical Engineer II

Rapidly growing life sciences technology company Ultima Genomics is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer II to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of electronics and harnesses for fully automated sequencing and support instruments.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing custom PCBs and mixed-signal electronics
• Proficiency in Electrical CAD tools (Altium, KiCAD)
• Experience with industrial electronics such as power supply sizing, wire harness design, component selection, and layout
• Knowledge of EMI/shielding strategies and harness component selection
• Strong troubleshooting skills for board-level and complex multi-disciplinary systems
• Proficiency in using Python for automation and data analysis
• Experience designing automated test platforms and reliability testing setups
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
