Requirements
- Modeling and detail drawing of mechanical parts, assemblies using Solidworks
- Implementation of design changes as part of the engineering change order process (ECO)
- Tolerance analysis based on design requirements, part creation process capability, inspection processes, cost, etc., using standard tolerancing and GD&T
- Select part material type based upon design requirements, environmental constraints, etc
- Select mounting and fastening hardware based upon design requirements, cost, etc.
- Track and maintain complete drawing package and BOM configuration
- Participate in mechanical assembly of prototypes associated with new designs
- Interface effectively with personnel at all levels within the company
- Project Support where required
- Provide activity reports as required
- Participating in continuous improvement process for an effective engineering process.
