Supplier Quality Engineer

Join Ultra Maritime as a Supplier Quality Engineer and contribute to safeguarding the seas and empowering navies worldwide. As a key member of the Ultra Assurance function, you will ensure the effectiveness and fulfillment of Ultra's Quality Policy, collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams to maintain high standards of manufacturing productivity and efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting the non-conformance process, conducting supplier audits, and coaching suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activities.

Requirements

• Non-Conformance Process Support and Management
• Liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement for material issues
• Supplier Audits and Action Verification
• Supplier Continuous Improvement
• Assist in First Article/First Piece Inspection and Physical Configuration Audits
• Coach Suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activity
• Coordinate all efforts for Non-conforming material
• Review data obtained through the incoming receiving department
• Support the ISO 9001:2015 approved Supplier Quality system
• Investigate and address customer complaints regarding part quality
• Evaluate new suppliers and ensure due diligence is given to identifying and managing the associated risks
• Assist the Supplier Quality Manager with the approval process
• Perform all other duties as required, requested or needed
