Job Description
Join Ultra Maritime as a Test Engineer and be part of shaping the future of naval warfare. Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment to support the production of complex defense systems.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test equipment
- Develop and maintain automated test software using National Instruments LabVIEW and related tools
- Design and develop electronic drawings, using such programs as OrCad
- Create detailed test plans, procedures, and methodologies to verify product specifications
- Review test specifications for completeness and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test equipment, software, and test methodologies
- Analyze test data and production yields to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing test equipment and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and throughput
- Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on ‘Design for Test’ and ‘Design for Manufacturing’
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, military specifications, and quality assurance procedures
