Medical Science Liaison

Ultragenyx is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical and/or scientific background and will be responsible for engaging with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders to determine research and clinical interests, uncover KOL insights, and increase KOL engagement with Ultragenyx's rare disease programs.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, and/or PharmD with pharmaceutical industry experience required (3+ years minimum as MSL)
• Relevant and significant experience in the pharmaceutical or the biotech industry (or experience with biological product)
• Background / experience in metabolic diseases, pediatrics or genetic diseases preferred
• Understanding of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) standards
• Good analytical skills as applied to medical, scientific and technical information
• Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical/scientific literature and develop effective medical strategies and communication strategies
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English
