Intermediate Product Designer

Umbra Studio is seeking a Intermediate Product Designer to support internal initiatives and custom projects. The ideal candidate is curious, works smart, communicates clearly, and enjoys collaborating closely with Designers and Design Leads in a fast-paced, hands-on studio environment.

Requirements

• 2-8 years of professional experience in Industrial Design or Product Design
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Industrial Design or a related field
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate design intent clearly, both visually and verbally
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solution oriented
• Ability to work with AI tools to improve efficiency, support creative tasks, and assist design processes
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks, with the ability to learn and adapt to Onshape
• Ability to create or edit graphics to support products, presentations, and documentation
