Job Description
Umbrella Family is seeking a Temporary Childcare Centre Cook/Teaching Assistant to join their team, serving as a positive co-learner during children’s formative years. The role offers comprehensive benefits, unionized environment, and a supportive community. This position is a contract position ending on October 2, 2026.
Requirements
- 1-year experience working in a kitchen setting
- Experience with menu planning and purchasing
- Experience in a childcare setting a definite asset
- College level Certificate or Diploma in a related field, Working knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and organizational skills
