Job Description
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including general ledger, job cost accounting, and financial reporting. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, compliance with GAAP, SOX, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Experience with job cost accounting and project-based financial reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
