Job Description
Unilabs is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger Accountant to join their CH Finance Team in Porto, Portugal. The role involves maintaining accurate general ledger records, performing account reconciliations, supporting monthly closings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Fluency in French is crucial, as the position requires close collaboration with French speakers.
Requirements
- Maintain accurate records in the General Ledger and ensure timely posting of all transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Assist in the monthly and year-end closing processes considering tight deadlines.
- Support preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits requests.
- Collaborate proactively with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax teams.
