Job Description
The Firefighter/EMT position is responsible for responding to fire alarms and other emergency calls, extinguishing fires, and providing emergency medical assistance. The job requires adherence to safety protocols, completion of training programs, and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree or two (2) years of college coursework preferred
- Completion of Basic Firefighter Course
- Certification as a Emergency Medical Technician
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Certification as State of Georgia Firefighter
- Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate or greater
