Job Description
The Network Engineer will develop automation and processes to enable teams to manage and monitor applications in data centers and the cloud. This includes troubleshooting system issues, implementing network security, and managing monitoring tools. The role involves owning end-to-end solutions and ensuring system availability and reliability.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of networking fundamentals (IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, switching, routing, Load balancers, Server OS)
- Experience with network and OSI Layer Protocols
- Experience with Network Security, Wireless, and Voice
- Experience with network infrastructure (Structured Cabling, WAN, LAN, Network Security)
- Experience with provisioning tools (Ansible, Vagrant, Docker, Puppet)
- Understanding of security concepts (NAC, PKI, Cybersecurity)
- Understanding of software defined infrastructure (SD-WAN, Open Vswitch)
- Understanding of network functions and network technologies (OpenFlow, OpenStack, CloudStack)
