Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Plastic Surgery Clinic

Edina Plastic Surgery is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support their surgeons and provide exceptional patient experiences. The role involves a variety of duties including patient care, clinical support, and maintaining a clean and organized practice environment. A dedicated CMA will contribute to creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere and upholding high standards of safety and excellence.

Requirements

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for their visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and pertinent information.
• Assist with minor in-office procedures.
• Educate patients on procedure details and recovery expectations.
• Perform dressing changes, suture removals, drain and catheter removals.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and organization.
• Sterilize, package, and track instruments.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies.
• Handle patient calls and patient consents.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other CMAs.
