Feeder / Cleaner | Groomy Pet

We are a vet practice that combines day care, grooming and retail unit. We are looking for an experienced dog feeder/handler with enthusiasm for small animals to join our established practice in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements

• Maintaining the cleanness of all different areas in the facility under the guidance of the handlers, nurses and veterinarians.
• Cleaning at least three times a day the boarding area, including the rooms, habitats or sleeping areas, and familiarizing animals with human voices and contact.
• Monitoring animals' wellbeing while being in the facility (daycare and boarding).
• Feeding and medicating animals (in case of oral medication and under the guidelines of the treating veterinarian.
• Using positive reinforcement and other techniques to elicit desired animal behavior.
• Providing updates to other parties about the progress and condition of the animals.
• Providing general care to animals, such as grooming (in case they may get dirty within the boarding).
• Providing support to the rest of the team in the rest of the areas when needed.
• Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
