Service Technician Valves & Actuators

Municipal Valve & Equipment Company, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain valves and actuators for municipal customers. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and adherence to company and industry safety protocols.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with valves or actuators (electric and/or pneumatic)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, low-voltage electrical circuits, and industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to use multimeters, torque tools, hand tools, and calibration equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable traveling to job sites
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
