Job Description
U.S. Soccer is seeking a Director of Talent Identification for Women’s Youth National Teams to lead the development of a comprehensive Talent ID plan. This leader will oversee talent identification processes, building a collaborative and inclusive team, and ensuring the right players are scouted for the national team. They will work closely with WNT Assistant Coaches, High Performance, and Analytics to elevate the team's player pool and contribute to strategic decisions within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher
- U.S. Soccer A License (or UEFA A License)
- 5+ years experience as a leader and relationship builder (club or Federation)
- Expert knowledge of current talent identification and development
- Knowledge of domestic soccer landscape and player pathways
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective planning and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
- Proficient with data, video editing and scout technology platforms
