Experience Specialist; Monona Clinic; 1.0 FTE

As an Experience Specialist, you'll play a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and supportive environment for patients and visitors. This position provides front-line assistance by greeting guests, guiding them to the appropriate departments, and helping with required paperwork to ensure an efficient visit.

Requirements

• Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering information on services and procedures.
• Keep patients and families informed about wait times, provider availability, and any delays.
• Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Offer guidance on charges, payment processes, and insurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Answer and route incoming calls, providing basic information as appropriate.
• Ensure all interactions and data handling follow confidentiality and UPH standards.
