Physical Therapy Aide II; 0.8 FTE; Day Shift

Seeking a Physical Therapy Aide II to join our Inpatient Acute Care Therapy Team at UnityPoint Health – Meriter.

Requirements

• Assist in patient care under direct supervision of Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapist
• Review therapy orders and team schedule; schedule IP therapy appointments for new referrals
• Prepare therapy session equipment and organize therapy gym space
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities for team scheduling, ordering, etc
• Assist in patient mobility by participating in the hospital wide Mobility Program
• Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, active in staff meetings, seek continual learning opportunities to advance knowledge, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team
