We are seeking a Vice President Software Engineering to lead our development department, with responsibilities including team leadership, prioritization, process and quality management, and reliable delivery. The successful candidate will have leadership experience, transformation competence, technical depth, and hands-on mentality.
Requirements
- Leadership experience: You have already led a development organization - e.g. as Head of Engineering, CTO or in a comparable role - and are responsible for complex technical environments with a safe hand
- Transformation competence: You bring proven experience in leading through change, ideally in medium-sized tech companies or organizations of similar complexity
- Technical depth: You understand modern software development, architecture principles, and quality processes in detail and can soberly evaluate technical decisions
- Structural building & scaling: You have built, scaled, and successfully established agile working methods with engineering teams and structures
- Hands-on mentality: You can strategically steer a department - but also pragmatically intervene in the operational process when necessary
- Stakeholder competence: You communicate clearly, transparently, and convincingly with internal and external stakeholders
