EMT (Per Diem)

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for delivering Basic Life Support (BLS) to patients in all weather conditions. They assess, treat, lift, and transport patients, complete documentation, and support EMS operations. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality emergency care in the hospital setting.

Requirements

• Experience & Preferences: Minimum of two (2) years of EMS experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of EMS driving experience with a good driving record
• CEVO (Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator) course completion preferred
• Valid PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) or BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support) provider card preferred
• Medical & Safety Requirements: Must pass a medical evaluation and respirator fit test
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• ICS (Incident Command System) Level 100 certification
• NIMS (National Incident Management System) Awareness certification
