Staff Nurse, MICU I-Yellow

The Staff Nurse position at Banner-Yellow is responsible for providing patient care, safety, and goals. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, patient education, and discharge planning. The Registered Professional Nurse will work as part of a care team to achieve patient goals in a safe environment and coordinate with patients and families.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred
• Adult Medical/Surgical experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• Valid BLS certification by the American Heart Association (basic life support)
• Ability to employ problem solving techniques and critical thinking
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move patients
• Ability to organize care/activities of multiple patients
• Successful completion of a Progressive Care Course or Progressive Care Certification
