Job Description
The Ford Dealer Technical Training Instructor will be responsible for delivering technical training to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Dealer technicians. The position involves coaching, technical expertise, and encouragement while allowing technicians or students structured opportunities to improve their own proficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior history as an automotive technician
- Technical experience with OEM vehicles
- Prior OEM instructional experience preferred
- Five years' experience as an instructor in a technical field preferred
- Prior history as an OEM technician preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Planning, prioritization skills, time management skills, and deadline-oriented
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to manage OEM software applications and curriculum on UTI and OEM computers
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, using good judgment
