Job Description
The Department of Information and Security Systems at Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología - UTEC invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Cybersecurity, with responsibilities including teaching, research, and service.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge in Cybersecurity topics: Ethical Hacking, Network Security, Cryptography, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, and incident response.
- Proven track record of scholarly publications.
- Industry certifications like CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Security+ (preferred but not required).
- Have supported cybersecurity competitions like CTFs or hackathons (preferred but not required).
- Experience teaching classes
- Grant proposal writing experience
- Demonstrated interest in working with academic and/or community partners
