Job Description
This position is responsible for performing basic Medical Assisting duties, including managing patient flow, assisting with front desk duties, and maintaining patient records. Must be able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds and have medical terminology knowledge. Must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand frequently.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- 1+ years clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Preferred MA I & II)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required within 6 months of hire (MA III)
