Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accessible Technology Coordinator to help ensure our online courses meet accessibility standards under Title II ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA.
Requirements
- Run accessibility checks in Canvas LMS using integrated tools (e.g., YuJa Panorama, Cidi Labs Design Plus Accessibility Checker)
- Apply simple fixes to documents and course content (e.g., adding alt text, adjusting headings, checking color contrast)
- Follow step-by-step remediation workflows provided by the team
- Assist with captioning and video accessibility tasks in Kaltura
- Maintain logs of completed tasks and report progress to the Director of Instructional Technology
