The University of Nevada, Reno Orvis School of Nursing invites applications for an Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence and Belonging (AD-IEB). This senior faculty leadership role combines a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with executive responsibilities as a member of the Dean’s leadership team.
Requirements
- A Doctoral degree in nursing (PhD, DNP, or equivalent).
- Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Nevada.
- Eligibility for tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the Orvis School of Nursing.
- Established program of scholarship in nursing outcomes and/or equity-related research that advances health or educational outcomes.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly funding, peer-reviewed publications, and contributions to the nursing discipline.
- Leadership experience advancing inclusive excellence and belonging, with evidence of creating or sustaining initiatives that improve organizational climate.
- Experience in faculty recruitment, mentoring, and retention with attention to supporting diverse and historically underrepresented faculty.
