Job Description
The Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) is seeking a Student Worker - ASUN Senator for the School of Public Health. The Senator will serve as a legislator, amending and generating bills and resolutions to reflect the needs and voices of students. Responsibilities include hosting office hours, attending Senate meetings, and mentoring Legislative Interns.
Requirements
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled in at least 7 credits
- Have a declared major in the college of Public Health
- Attend all required meetings and training
- Work scheduled hours
- Properly complete and submit HR paperwork on time
- Assist in the promotion of the mission of ASUN and Nevada
- Behave in a manner that is ethical, maintaining a high level of integrity
Benefits
- $17.36/hour through a stipend for the 93rd session
