Clinical Supervisor - Medical Surgical Telemetry - Full Time 12 Hours Nights

Supervisor for the Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing unit responsible for day-to-day operations, direct supervision of RN staff, and assists the Director and/or Manager with operational management of the nursing unit.

Requirements

• Accountable for performance improvement activities through orientation, education, quality control and planning.
• Assists the Director with the operations of assigned areas (budget, regulatory compliance, and resource utilization).
• Demonstrates clinical performance in the department, acting as a clinical resource.
• Ensures that the clinical aspects of patient care services are met (staffing, workflow, resources availability).
• Manages human resources effectively (interview, hire, counsel, evaluation, assist with terminations, decrease vacancies and turnover).
• Supports a safe, blame free and healing environment for patients, visitors and personnel.
