Job Description
The Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate will work on fundamental or applied research in stochastic and (distributionally) robust optimization, with the possibility of conducting multidisciplinary research with faculty colleagues. The position is a hybrid position, with the researcher expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week.
Requirements
- Develop next-generation data-driven stochastic and distributionally robust optimization methodologies
- Develop advanced fairness promoting stochastic optimization frameworks
- Write manuscripts, disseminate findings at scientific meetings, prepare grant applications, and support supervision of doctoral students
