Job Description
The University of Utah Health is seeking a Patient-Focused Athletic Trainer for a Temporary, Variable shift within their OPC 40H SPORTS MEDICINE department. The role involves evaluating, treating, and preventing athletic injuries, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and providing educational support to athletes and families. This position focuses on enhancing health and well-being and fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
- Provide athletic training and sports medicine services for assigned high school and/or athletic program.
- Take preventive measures against potential injuries.
- Ensure consistent communication and follow-up of athlete's well-being.
- Assist in coordinating physical examinations and medical referrals.
