Job Description
Upbring is seeking a Part-Time Floater to provide flexible support in classrooms, assisting teachers with lesson planning, supervision, and classroom management. The role involves maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment for children, adhering to Head Start Performance Standards, and supporting program needs. It requires adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to early childhood education.
Requirements
- Assist teachers with lesson plans, activities, and classroom management
- Ensure active supervision and safety of children in classrooms and playgrounds
- Provide support in multiple classrooms and fill in for teachers as needed
- Help with meal preparation, distribution, and cleanup
- Assist with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing training
