HVAC Services Technician

Upchurch is a rapidly growing, full-service building engineering company providing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services across the southeastern United States. The HVAC Services Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.

Requirements

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Calibrate thermostats, test electrical circuits, and ensure system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job documentation.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, repair options, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
