Project Accountant

Upchurch is a rapidly growing building engineering company seeking a Project Accountant to manage job cost accounting, review project-related costs, and prepare progress billings. Responsibilities include tracking project budgets, coordinating with project managers, and supporting monthly and year-end close processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction accounting and job cost systems
• Proficiency with accounting and construction management software
• Strong Excel skills and analytical ability
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress towards certification
