Job Description
Bartender role at Uptown Alley, creating a positive and enjoyable experience for guests by providing exceptional customer service, crafting delicious and creative drinks, and maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere at the bar.
Requirements
- Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling and alcohol training.
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment
- Prior experience working as bartenders in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, including customer service techniques, order taking, and making cocktails.
- Customer Service orientation
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Technological Proficiency with POS Systems and Reservation Systems
- English language proficiency
- Ability to deescalate tense situations
