Anthropologie Senior Designer - Apparel

Anthropologie is seeking a Senior Designer for Apparel to set fashion trends and provide oversight for product development. The role involves designing and overseeing the creation of all apparel categories, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring brand consistency. The role requires a team leader with creative vision and communication skills, and experience in managing various design processes.

Requirements

• The ability to recognize and accurately forecast fashion and cultural trends.
• Creative Vision: Have the vision to identify trends in their early stages and understand their impact to fashion.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and inspire.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong hand sketching and/or CAD skills.
• Thorough understanding of apparel construction.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, labels and other production goods.
• 7-10 years in women’s design.
• Degree is Fashion Apparel preferred.
