Job Description
Ursa Major is seeking a Manager, Configuration Management & CAD Integration to lead a team responsible for configuration control processes, engine-level CAD integration, and ensuring accurate and traceable design elements. This hybrid role focuses on collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to optimize product lifecycles and ensure efficient product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in hardware-centric product development environments
- 5+ years working directly with CAD systems (NX or Creo preferred) and PLM platforms (Windchill preferred)
- 3+ years in a leadership role, including mentorship and technical process ownership
- Proven ability to manage large, structured CAD assemblies and maintain model integrity
- Deep knowledge of configuration management principles
