Job Description
Ursa Major is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer to join a rapidly growing team specializing in fluid and mechanical systems for space launch and defense applications. This role involves clean-sheet design, development, and validation of propulsion hardware, as well as technical leadership and mentoring. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a technical organization within a smaller, agile team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics
- 4+ years of relevant full-lifecycle mechanical design and development
- Mastery of CAD, drafting, and GD&T
- Working knowledge of fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Strong understanding of industry standards and requirements
- Desire to take ownership and help wherever needed
- Able to delegate tasks and lead projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible
