Job Description
Ursa Major is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join their In-Space team. This role involves owning systems engineering for spacecraft propulsion, from requirements development to system architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project meets quality and safety standards through a variety of disciplines including design, failure analysis, and risk assessments. They will collaborate with engineers and management to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace system design, project management, or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience applying aerospace systems engineering processes (design reviews, requirements verification & validation, failure & risk assessments)
- Demonstrated organization skills
