Job Description
US IT Sol Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator with CCNP/JNCP level or equivalent experience to design, configure, and support the State of Colorado Public Safety Microwave and DTR customer network. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer service ethic, and flexible work pattern including on-call.
Requirements
- Design/implement IP/MPLS network Microwave backhaul transport systems
- Support and troubleshooting a mix of networking technologies
- Architect networks for new services and identify areas of improvement
- Experience in dynamic protocols including OSPF and BGP
- Determine network equipment needed to meet specified requirements
- Embrace Agency's goals and strategy in alignment with KPI's and provide metrics
- Work closely with NOC and Field Technicians on 1st/2nd/3rd line troubleshooting
- Respond to support calls and escalations of customer issues on a 24/7 basis
- Design routines health tests that run diagnostic scans and report/notify of system alarms
- Develop and support procedures for ensuring network survivability and disaster recovery
