Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analyzing business functions and accurately documenting critical data requirements that represent the business needs including future state business activities.
- Ability to focus on the ‘what’ of the business function and not the ‘how’ of the solution.
- Experience in supporting the building of mission-critical business applications.
- 5+ years of experience in the creation and documentation of UAT test strategies/plans and test cases/scripts for data projects.
- Thorough knowledge of both manual and automated testing.
- Requires strong data analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information about said data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have strong SQL skills to develop and execute complex scripts that interrogate the data ensuring requirements / business rules / controls are thoroughly tested.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse / database concepts.
- Experience in creating reports using BI tools (Microsoft preferred).
- Strong facilitation and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
- Formal BA training, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence training or certification will be preferred.
- Understanding of the mortgage industry, preferably commercial or multifamily real estate (origination, underwriting, securitization, servicing and asset management) helpful.
- Skilled with relational DBMS (MS SQL Server, Sybase, DB2), DOORS, and SharePoint.
