Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician III to maintain the integrity and operability of buildings and grounds. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining non-clinical mechanical systems and equipment, providing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and infection control. The position requires a strong time management and problem-solving skillset.
Requirements
- High school or GED required
- Minimum 6 years of experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar facility
- Valid driver’s license required
- Current Master Tradesman's license preferred
- Significant and relevant mechanical system experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
