Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technician to work in conjunction with radiologists to prepare patients and operate imaging equipment. The role involves performing diagnostic scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The role involves clinical and operational aspects related to MRI technology.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- ARRT or ARMRIT Registered in MRI
- Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communications
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Ability to multitask and proficient in MRI safety
