Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, ensuring safe and affordable medication use in communities. The role involves dispensing medications, providing patient education, and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality patient care. The Pharmacy Technician will focus on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and communication.
Requirements
- 18 months of relevant experience, 1 year of sterile compounding experience, or 1 year of employment
- State Registration and/or evidence of renewal for both Pharmacists and Technicians
- Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (ExCPT)
