Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Registered Nurse-Behavioral Medicine to serve as a leader on the healthcare team, providing personalized care for patients with behavioral health needs. This full-time, night shift position requires collaborating with physicians and supporting patients through individualized care plans, utilizing scientific evidence and compassion. The role emphasizes patient advocacy and promoting optimal health.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Current RN licensure in applicable state
- CPI certification within three months of hire for Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and Central Staffing and Scheduling Office (CSSO)
- Recurrent Board approved refresher course required for inactive or lapsed licenses
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
- Basic computer knowledge
