Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Sonographer to join their team and provide high-quality ultrasound images to patients. The role involves collaborating with radiologists, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
- ARDMS certification within the first year of employment
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Ability to perform diagnostic procedures with various patient age groups
- Demonstrated competency in ultrasound procedures
