Job Description
UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Surgical Specialties department in Madison, WI. The role involves providing pre-operative and post-operative care, assisting with clinic procedures, and promoting health & wellness in collaboration with the team. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or
- License as LPN or
- Completion of UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or
- Attainment of CCMA certification or
- Acceptance into UWH MA Apprenticeship Program or
- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Current MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification (preferred)
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (LPN preferred)
- 1 year of LPN experience (preferred)
