Operations Driver Safety and Claims Specialist

We are seeking a Driver Safety and Claims Specialist with a focus on Federal Transit Administration (FTA) compliance to oversee driver safety, manage auto insurance claims, and ensure adherence to FTA regulations within our paratransit operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in paratransit or transportation safety management
• Prior claims management or adjusting experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in using fleet management and claims software
• In-depth knowledge of FTA regulations, including drug and alcohol testing, vehicle accessibility, and safety protocols for paratransit operations
• Proven experience in managing auto insurance claims, including investigations and negotiations
• Meticulous attention to detail in upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating incidents and assessing risks
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills to convey safety expectations, training requirements, and claims statuses to various stakeholders
